OK, so hunting season is over but that doesn't mean that we can just move into the house and become couch gluttons.  No!  It means that it's time to hit the surf to catch runnin bluefish, cast the beetle spins into the white perch schools and jump the rubber frog over the lillies hopin to catch ole largemouth!  Yes...I'm afraid it's time for all of us to turn into "Fishing Legends In Our Own Minds" from now until Oct. 2010!  Let me hear the tales because I know without a doubt that they will be TALL and UNBELIEVABLE but since I like all you guys I will publish them anyway.  Email me at fordsalespro@gmail.com to tell me what you think I want to hear and don't forget the pics to go with the outlandish stories.

Sometimes I wonder why I do these things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woodie, I hope I'm the first one to email you with a fishing report hahaha! Went to Florida with some buddies the last week of Jan. thru first of Feb and I got lucky too despite unseasonable like weather for Florida with this big bass that was close to 9lbs!  He fell prey to a Zoom Brush Hog texas rigged flipping to the grass and pads on the Kissimmee River! All together my buddy and I caught about 100 or so bass for the week it was a little slow but we had a great time!!

Thanks, Phillip, best of luck to all this year on the water!!

I was fishing on 4/7 pre-fishing for the up coming tournament season that i fish. While fishing that day i noticed that the fish had started to come up and make beds. This was good becuase i would be able to sight fish the big females on the beds. When i first saw the water moving where this female was i immediately flipped a brush hog in the bed and caught the male. After trying to about five minutes to get the female to bite i had almost given up. Then i saw a moth fall onto the water and she came up and sucked it under. I quickly grabbed my pole with a black spro frog and about the 4 cast i stopped it over her bed and she inhaled it. She was just shy of 8lbs and the biggest fish to date i have caught on Lake Chesdin.
Thanks
Phillip Moore
