I killed this turkey on 4/17. I went out with a friend and just at daylight i heard him gobble on the roost. About 7:15 am he flew down into a powerline and gobbled immediately after hitting the ground. this let me know he didnt have any hens with him. It only took a few soft yelps and a couple of purrs and he and two other gobblers came running into my set up. For some reason they didnt like what they saw so i to take a quick shot at the strutter. He ended up weighing 19lbs even with a 9.5 inch beard and 1.25 inch spurs.
